Wilton Windmill Location Grid reference - SU 275 616. OS Sheet 174. About 5 miles SW of Hungerford, off A338, just east of Wilton village. Follow brown signs.
A 5-storey tower mill built in 1821. It worked until the 1920s, and has been
fully restored. It is the only working windmill in Wessex. The mill has two
pairs of millstones, and produces wholemeal flour for sale. Shop selling flour and souvenirs. Opening Times Easter to September, Sundays & Bank Holiday Mondays, 14.00 - 17.00. Parties at other times by arrangement. National Mills Weekend opening times
