About 10 miles north east of Cambridge, off B1102 in Burwell village. Follow signs for Burwell Museum. Parking in Gardiner Memorial Hall car park in High Street.

A tarred brick and clunch (a local hard chalk-like stone) tower mill built in 1820 and working until around 1955. Grade II* Listed building. The mill has undergone a major restoration as part of a £420,000 project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Burwell Museum adjoining.

Opening times 2017
The museum is open 1100 - 1700 Sunday, Thursday & Bank Holiday Mondays from Easter to end October, plus other times as on web site.

National Mills Weekend opening times 2017
Saturday 11.00 - 16.00 (free admission to mill) & Sunday 11.00 - 17.00  Milling, subject to suitable weather conditions. Tours of the mill. Bread making etc., Last mill tour entry 15.00.
