  Pitstone Windmill, Ivinghoe

˝ml S of Ivinghoe, 3ml NE of Tring, just W of B488, near junction with B489.

A 17th century post mill with a brick roundhouse, last worked in 1902. Believed to be one of the oldest post mills in the country. Restored to workable condition by volunteers in 1963-70, but no longer able to turn to wind. Owned by the National Trust.

June to August, Sundays & Bank Holidays, 14.30 - 18.00.
