Exit M55 at junction 4. Turn right into B583, Preston New Road. The mill is quarter mile on left.
A four-storey tower mill built in 1838. Upper machinery is intact. The mill was donated to be a memorial to Lancashire author, Charles Allen Clarke.
Opening times
April to August; last Sunday in each month, 12.00 - 16.00. Heritage weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 11.00-16.00, plus certain other days (see web site). Other times by appointment.
