  Little Marton Windmill

Exit M55 at junction 4. Turn right into B583, Preston New Road. The mill is ¼ mile on left.


A four-storey tower mill built by John Whalley in 1838. Upper machinery is intact. The mill was donated by Cornelius Bagot to be a memorial to Lancashire author, Charles Allen Clarke.

Opening times
14th February, & Heritage weekend, Saturday and Sunday 11.00 - 17.00.  Other times by appointment.

National Mills Weekend
Saturday and Sunday 11.00 - 17.00.
