Off A17 Newark to Kings Lynn road. Follow brown signs from Heckington bypass.

The only remaining 8-sailed tower mill in Western Europe, last worked commercially in 1946. Restored to working order in 1986, and now worked by the Heckington Windmill Trust. The mill has 4 pairs of millstones, 3 of which are working. Shop selling flour and souvenirs. Tearoom open for refreshments, and on-site micro-brewery.
New sails fitted summer 2014 and we are now milling again.

Opening times 2016
October to March: Saturday, Sunday & bank holidays, 12.00 -16.00.  Easter to September 12.00 - 17.00.
Open daily 12:00-1700 mid-July to 4th September.  See calendar on web site.  Parties by prior arrangement.
Tea Room opening: Same hours as the mill. Special events and extra opening days, see web site.
