Off A17 Newark to Kings Lynn road. Follow brown signs from
The only remaining 8-sailed tower mill in Western Europe, last
worked commercially in 1946. Restored to working order in 1986,
and now worked by the Heckington Windmill Trust. The mill has
four pairs of millstones, three of which are working. Shop
selling flour and souvenirs.
Tearoom open for refreshments, and on-site micro-brewery.
New sails fitted summer 2014 and we are now milling
again. The associated mill buildings are undergoing major repair
