About 2 miles north of Belper. From A38 take A610 west. Follow brown signs from village.

This Grade 2* listed 3-storey stone tower mill, built in 1797, is one the few remaining 6-sailed mills in the country, and the only complete mill of its type in Derbyshire. The mill has an ogee cap with fantail, and two pairs of millstones. Last worked commercially in 1919. Restored in 2001-2 to full working order. Flour milled when conditions permit.

Opening times 2017
April to October, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, 11.00-16.00. Last tour 15.30 Parties by arrangement.

National Mills Weekend opening times 2017
Saturday and Sunday, 11.00-16.00. Tours available, conducted by trained guides.  Flour produced in the restored mill will be on sale in the Visitor centre, & light refreshments and soft drinks available.
