Danzey Green Windmill, Avoncroft Museum, Bromsgrove

About 2 miles S of Bromsgrove, off A38 Bromsgrove bypass.

A post mill with a 'Midlands-type' brick roundhouse. Built circa 1820 and later became derelict. Moved to the museum in 1969, and restored to full working order. It has a single pair of millstones, and runs regularly, weather permitting. Many other interesting rescued buildings.

March-June, Tuesday to Sunday, 10.30-17.00. July & August, daily,10.30-17.00., September to December  10.30 - 17.00, closed Mondays (closes at 16.00 November & December).  January & February: Saturday & Sunday, 10.30-16.00.  See also web site.
