Berkswell Windmill, Balsall Common

Just off A452, between Birmingham Airport and Kenilworth, on the south east side of the village of Balsall Common.

A brick tower mill with a hand-winding wheel, built in 1826 on the site of a post mill. Last worked by wind in 1933, and used auxiliary power until 1948. Restored to workable order 2013.

Opening times 2018
Easter Saturday March 31st, then 12th May, 23 June, 14th July, 11th August, 8th September (Heritage Day).  6th October. All 12.00-16.00.
