In centre of Trefriw, on B5106 Betws-y-Coed to Conwy road, about 5 miles N of Betws-y-Coed.

Originally the site of a water-powered fulling mill, or pandy, the present building dates from the 1960s. The machinery is powered by a Boving hydro-electirc turbine dating from the 1940s. Traditional methods of production are used for Welsh bedspreads, tweeds and travelling rugs. Museum of carding engines, mules, etc.

Opening times

Turbine house, shop and tearoom: April-Dec daily 10.00-17.00; January-March Monday-Saturday 10.00-17.00. Closed Chrismas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day
Weaving: all year except Christmas period, Monday-Friday 10.00-13.00 and 14.00-17.00
Mill museum (carding engines, spinning mules, etc.): Easter-October 28th 2011, Monday-Friday 10.00-17.00.
