In centre of Trefriw, on B5106 Betws-y-Coed to Conwy road, about 5 miles N of Betws-y-Coed.
Originally the site of a water-powered fulling mill, or pandy, the present building dates from the 1960s. The machinery is powered by two Boving hydro-electric turbines installed in the 1930s & 1940s. Traditional methods of production are used for Welsh bedspreads, tweeds and travelling rugs. Museum of carding engines, mules etc.

Opening Times
Turbine house, shop and tearoom: all year, daily, 09.30 - 17.30. Closed Christmas day, Boxing Day & New Year.   Weaving:  all year, Monday – Friday 10.00 – 13.00, 14.00 – 17.00. Machinery museum: spinning mules, carding engine etc Easter – October, Monday to Friday 10.00 – 17.30. Closed Christmas holidays.
