From M1, exit 29, take A6125 towards Clay Cross, then 1st left and left again and under the motorway. Follow brown signs to Hardwick Hall and mill.

The present mill has machinery of the 1850s, which includes a kiln, three pairs of stones and a 17-ft high breast waterwheel. Mills flour and spelt for sale regularly throughout the season. Owned by the National Trust. Hardwick Hall (NT) is nearby, open on same days as mill.

Opening times 2016
Mid-February to October, Wednesdays to Sundays & bank holidays, 10.00-16.00. (to 17.00 June to September).  (Further details on web site.) Parties by arrangement at other times.
