From M1, exit 29, take A6125 towards Clay Cross, then 1st L and L again and under the motorway. Follow brown signs to Hardwick Hall and mill.
The present mill has machinery of the 1850s, which includes a kiln, three pairs of stones and a 16-ft pitchback waterwheel, Mills flour and spelt for sale regularly throughout the season. Owned by the National Trust.
Hardwick Hall (NT) is nearby open on same days as mill.

Opening Times
Mid-March to October, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holiday Mondays, 11.00 - 16.30. Also Fridays in July and August.  Parties by arrangement at other times.
