  Patterson's Spade Mill,  Templepatrick

Three miles E of Templepatrick on A6 Belfast to Antrim road, between Sandyknowes, Glengormley and Templepatrick roundabouts.

The last surviving water-powered spade mill in Ireland. Spades were made here until 1990. The original equipment has been fully restored and is now again in production, employing two spade makers. Owned by the National Trust.

Opening Times
Mid-March to May, & September, Saturdays, Sundays,  Bank Holidays and NI holidays.
Easter week, daily.  June to August, daily except Tuesdays. Opening hours 14.00 - 18.00.
