3 miles N of St Albans, off A5183 St Albans to Redbourn road. After about 1½ miles turn R into Redbournbury Lane, signposted "Watermill".

An 18th century watermill using auxiliary power from a 1928 Crossley oil engine. Two pairs of working millstones in line driven from a horizontal layshaft, producing organic wheat, spelt and rye flour. Milling demonstrations.

Opening times

Easter to September, Sundays, 14.00-17.00. Parties at other times by arrangement.

Sunday only, 14.00-17.00.
