Turn off A3052 at Newton Poppleford on to B3178 Budleigh Salterton road. Follow road for 2 miles past Bicton, then turn L for Otterton. Mill is ¼ mile on R.

A working watermill with two low breastshot waterwheels and millstones with rhyming dedications. Machinery is part 18th and part 19th century. Fed by a medieval leat from the River Otter. Licensed restaurant, bakery using own flour. Shop. Craft workshops and gallery.

Opening times

All year, daily, 10.00-17.00. Winter, 10.00-dusk. Parties should book in advance.

Saturday and Sunday, 10.00-17.00. Planning to mill on the Saturday.
