Off A33 Basingstoke to Reading road, follow the brown signs from the Sherfield on Loddon roundabout.

A restored watermill with a large waterwheel and milling machinery, in full working order, housed in a timber-framed building dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. Now attached to the Mill House Inn, with bar & restaurant. Free admission.

Opening times

Mill and visitor centre (unmanned) daily, 11.00-23.00. Milling demonstrations by Hampshire Mills Group, 4th Saturday each month, 12.00-16.00.

National Mills Weekend opening times

Saturday & Sunday, mill open as static exhibit, 11.00-23.00.
