Three miles SE of Huntingdon, in the village of Houghton, signposted off A1123 Huntingdon to St Ives road. Mill is at the end of Mill Street.
A 5-storey working watermill on an island in the River Ouse, dating from the 1600s and containing 19th century milling machinery and a restored waterwheel. The last working watermill on the Ouse. Now again milling wholemeal flour. Owned by the National Trust.

Opening times

19th March to 30th October, Saturdays & Sundays, 11.00-17.00. 25th April to 28th September, Monday to Wednesday, 13.00-17.00. Parties at other times by arrangement.

National Mills Weekend opening times

From 11.00 to 17.00 on both Saturday and Sunday. Special event for 2011: Saturday and Sunday, 11.00 until 16.30, Victorian themed fun. Meet our costumed staff and play with our Victorian toys. Come dressed in Victorian style to add to the fun. Mill will also be running on Saturday & Sunday afternoon. Free event - normal admission charges apply.
