  Houghton Watermill

Three miles SE of Huntingdon, in the village of Houghton, signposted off A1123 Huntingdon to St Ives road. Mill is at the end of Mill Street.

A 5-storey, working watermill on an island in the River Ouse, dating from the 1600s and containing 19th century milling machinery and a restored waterwheel.  Now again milling wholemeal flour.  Owned by the National Trust.

Opening Times
April and October, Saturdays & Sundays. May to September, Saturdays to Wednesdays 13.00 – 17.00. Parties at other times by arrangement.

National Mills Weekend opening times
Saturday and Sunday 13.00 - 17.00.
