3 miles north of Yeovil; turn L off A359 N of Mudford, signposted Hinton.

Watermill built in 1800 inside an earlier barn by William Smith, geologist and Somerset coal engineer. A working Armfield Empire turbine installed in 1893, replacing a 20ft x 6ft waterwheel. 450 yds of tunnel supplies water from the River Yeo. Two pairs millstones and wire machine.
