Signposted at the junction of A1000 and A414 between Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City, near junction 4 on A1(M). Follow brown signs.

An 18th century watermill, which has now been restored to working order. There is a low breastshot waterwheel. Milling normally takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays.

Opening Times
All year, Tuesday to Friday, 10.00 - 17.00. Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays, 14.00 - 17.00.  Other times by appointment. 

National Mills Weekend opening times  
Saturday & Sunday 1400-1700. Home baked bread competition on Sunday 9th May between 1400 and 1630. Bring along home-made loaves of any type and shape. Collect an entry form flyer from the museum during opening hours or contact the museum by telephone or email. Alternatively, download a copy from our web page then return it completed to Mill Green Museum, Hatfield, AL9 5PD by Wednesday 5th May.
