A unique, 19th century working water-powered forge. Four waterwheels drive machinery, which includes a 250-year-old tilt hammer, drop hammer, fan, shears and grinding wheels, all demonstrated daily. Worked, producing edge tools, until 1960. Now owned by the National Trust.

Opening Times
Mid-March to October, daily except Tuesdays, 11.00 - 17.00. Parties at other times by arrangement.
