Off the A59 Harrogate-Skipton road, take the B6451 for 3 miles towards Pateley Bridge.

A large, mainly 3 storey, former corn mill originally built in the 17th century, with a pitched slate roof and original roof timbers. Now converted into a shop selling linen, & crafts plus a restaurant. There is a 27ft wood & iron breastshot waterwheel, built in 1874, which has been fully restored, together with iron pit gearing which can be viewed. The machinery is mainly iron and can be turned by the wheel.
