Follow signs to "River" from A256. The mill is about 2 miles from Dover Harbour.

A 6-storey weatherboarded watermill, built in 1812. Fully restored to working order and producing stoneground wholemeal flour on three of the five pairs of stones, plus external hoist and flour dressing machinery.

Opening times

Easter to September, daily, 11.00-17.00, except closed Mondays and closed Whit Sunday. February, March and October to Christmas, Saturdays and Sundays only, 11.00-17.00. Closed in January for maintenance.

Saturday & Sunday, 11.00-17.00.
