At Coultershaw Bridge, 1½ miles S of Petworth on A285 to Chichester.

A three-barrel beam pump, driven by a breastshot waterwheel installed in 1782 to supplement water supply to Petworth House and town. Restored to working order in 1980. Now operated by the Coultershaw Trust.

Opening times
April to September, 1st & 3rd Sundays, 11.00-17.00, also bank holiday Mondays. Parties by arrangement.
