Near Cullompton, about 2 miles SE of junction 27 on the M5. Follow signs to Willand via B3181, then brown signs to wool museum.

A four-storey textile mill built around 1797. In 1865 the mill concentrated on worsted production with both steam and water-power. In 1981 the Coldharbour Mill Trust converted the mill into a working museum of the woollen and worsted industry. There is an 18ft, 1821 breastshot suspension wheel, running line shafting for spinning, also an 1888 restored Lancashire boiler, a 1910 steam engine and an 1867 beam engine. Mill shop. Cafe.

Opening times 2017
From Friday 31st March the Mill will be open: School Holidays: Tuesday to Sunday 10.00-16.00(Closed Mondays).
Term Times: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. (also see web site).  Parties welcome on other days by prior arrangement. Admission prices are on the Visitor Information page of our website. Dates of special steam days are on the Events page of our website
