South of A6 in the centre of Rowsley village, between Matlock and Bakewell.

A Victorian roller flour mill, powered by water turbines, with four floors of shaft and belt-driven machinery. The mill was built in 1874, re-modelled in 1906 and closed in 1978. It is now operated by a charitable trust.

Opening times 2017
All year, 10.00-17.00; last admissions are at 4.15pm.  Parties by arrangement. See web site for details.
