½ mile E of Sherborne town centre. Follow signs for Sherborne Old Castle. 120 yds E of Castleton Road junction.
A 26-ft diameter breastshot waterwheel, built in 1869 to pump water to the town. Now operational, generates 38HP, driving an 1883 pump set. 

Opening Times
May to October, 2nd Sunday in each month, 11.00 - 17.00. Party visits at other times by arrangement.
