From A285, 2 miles S of Petworth, turn E to Burton Mill and Sutton. The mill is 1 mile on L.

Built about 1780 on the site of a former ironworks, is powered by a 1929 Francis turbine installed in the 1920s. Restored in 1970 and refurbished in 1984. Afternoon teas when open. Coultershaw waterpump nearby.

Opening times
The mill is not open at the moment due to the need for renovation to the turbine. In the meantime, the owners will consider applications for private viewing.
