  Bunbury Watermill

In Mill Lane, off Bowes Lane, Bunbury, between A49 and A51, about 3 miles SE of Tarporley.

A 3-storey brick mill building of about 1850. The mill, which once supplied Chester with flour, stopped work after a flood in 1960, and was restored in 1971 by NW Water (now United Utilities) to working order, producing wholemeal flour and oatmeal. Flour on sale.

Opening Times
United Utilities, owners of the mill, have recently announced that the mill will not be opening this year (2010) as a cost-cutting measure.  The future of the mill is uncertain.
