On the Forest of Birse road, W of B976 at Finzean, midway between Banchory and Aboyne. A single storey, timber-built 19th century wood-turning mill, with a 13-ft 6-in start and awe wheel, restored in the 1980s. Making wooden buckets. Now owned by the Birse Community Trust.
