Turn off A9 in Blair Atholl, 6 miles N of Pitlochry, by Atholl Arms Hotel, into Ford Road. Look for mill sign.

There has been a mill on this site since the 1590s. The current building is c.1830, a 3-storey rubble construction with a kiln. Last worked commercially in 1927. Restored to working order 1977, and milling commercially, producing flour and oatmeal, with two pairs of millstones.

Opening times

April to October, daily, 10.00-17.30. Parties by prior arrangement.
