About 9 miles E of Dundee, 2 miles W of Carnoustie, between A92 and A930. Follow brown signs.

A 3-storey red sandstone water-powered oatmeal mill, rebuilt in 1814 following a fire, incorporating an earlier round kiln. Last worked commercially 1982. Bought by National Trust for Scotland 1988. All remaining machinery works for demonstration, grinding animal feed. Milling demonstrations Sunday afternoons.

Easter, and 1st April to 28th May Friday to Sunday 11.00 - 16.00,  1st June to end August Thursday to Monday 11.00 - 16.00.  1st September - 1st October Friday to Sunday 11.00 - 16.00,   Parties of 12 or more by arrangement at any time.
Grounds and Ladeside Walk All year, daily until dusk.
