Near the ford in Llanrhystud on the river Wyre, just off the A487, midway between Aberystwyth and Aberaeron.
A complete corn mill (probably 18th century) in working order, with attached kiln & mill-house. A leat and narrow pond feed an overshot waterwheel: spur-wheel gear drives two pairs of stones, sack-hoist and wire-machine. Later belting from an Armfield turbine drove a grain cleaner, a saw-bench and a generator (unrestored) in the attached building. Opening Times
